Hello all. It's been a while. HA in April 2021 and diagnosed with HF in May. EF of 27% wasn't holding out much hope on EF improvement as on very lowest dose meds as I already suffer with low BP and they didn't want to take any risks. I can't say enough to ask for ENTRESTO!!! Also a change in lifestyle. Echocardiogram results today has shown my EF is now at 45 % and I am more than pleased with that. Please all take care and keep up the hard work π€ we are all survivors and never forget that.

Great news and thanks for sharing - my EF was 30-35 when I started on Entresto about 5 weeks ago. Hope it improves as much as yoursπ
Congratulations, and a massive thank you for posting. really does provide a lot if hope for us all.
Mine was 20% when discharged had no further checks but have a telephone consultation next month. Doing everything I was told and I do feel good at the moment doing more than I eve thought possible (touching wood),
So thank you from me and for others if you do have a blip things can get better.
Thatβs really good news - treat yourself to a fry-up! Just one!
Really pleased you are on the up. How about a big 'grill-up' instead π Take care.Sheena x
Oh 0163SLH that is so good to hear. You doubted that a good change could happen but it did. Hereβs to your future improvements and a happy life.I was the same you know. My daughter said Mum this figure can change but I held very little hope. Like you when the Echocardiogram revealed a marked change I felt like Iβd win the lottery. ( we both did in a way) β€οΈβ€οΈ
Excellent news! Great encouragement for anyone else in a similar situation. That's some improvement. π
Well done to you 0163SH,have your well deserved fry up!!! You sound like your well disiplined to lifestyle changes now.. something we learn to become on our recovery journey, well done π love
What's EF please? I'm a newbie here.
Great news. Keep up the good work and stay safe x
Great news! Iβll be asking for that too now if I ever see a respiratory nurse again. π
I was wondering what was the cause of your low ef. My partner has low ef and told it is likely to be caused by multivessel ischaemic heart disease. You must be so pleased π
Well they aren't quite sure. I have severe LAD disease, However I'm insulin diabetic which I guess I didn't take serious enough and I was a smoker. However it was someone on here (wish I could remember who) that told me to ask the cardiologist about entresto and he was more than happy to prescribe it to me as long as I tolerated it. Worth a ask if he's not on it. Yes , so pleased π now the hard work to keep it up π
Thank you I am not sure if lad disease is the same as ischaemic heart disease!!! I will certainly ask if this is an option π. Yes you must definitely keep it up ππ
