Hello cazxx1

If your husband is on blood thinners every knock or even if he as an itch will cause a bruise. I take 75mg aspirin and only have to have a bit of an itch and I look awful 😂 I am afraid it’s the price we pay for stopping our blood getting sticky.

Best wishes Pauline

Aspirin can cause bruising but not so common if only taking 75mg. If your husband is on Ticagrelor this is the most common anti platelet drug to cause bruising. This drug is given after heart surgery and reviewed after 12 months. Speak with your GP as there are many alternatives
