Hi Results of my 2nd Echocardiogram

I posted on here shortly after being discharged following a HA and an EF of 30 to 35 %, your support and advice was amazing, only very recently I’ve noticed I was walking with much less difficulty. I opened a letter from my consultant this morning which says my EF is now 45%. I’m obviously delighted with this, but over the weeks the advice you all gave began to mean something, I was beginning to feel better and whatever the re measured EF was I could feel good about my progress. I’m posting this to say a big thanks for your encouragement and to try to help anyone recently diagnosed with a low EF.

Take your medication without fail, try to lose weight and get some exercise, most of all stay positive

Thank you to all who replied originally

Lovely positive post. Pleased to hear your EF has improved and hope this will encourage others. You and I are lucky as the meds etc have worked for us but I recognise that’s not the case for everyone sadly. But your post at least shows hope. Best of luck to you 😁
