Confused about Metoprolol

I was prescribed 25mg of metoprolol, splitting the pill. Apparently I’m supposed to take it with food which means my first dose is around dinner time. The problem is I don’t eat after that so I have no idea when to take second half of the pill. I can’t take it around lunch bc that’s when I take my lexapro.

I haven't heard that metopolol interact with other meds, I take 75mg morning and again at night with all my other meds. But check with your pharmacist if you are worried. Take care.

I take 50mg metoprolol and was told to take it before bedtime.

I take the same amount (25mg pill) half a pill in the morning and a half in the evening. I don't necessarily take it with food and haven't had any adverse reactions. My understanding is that this level of dose is about as low as it goes so if I were you I'd just take it twice a day and not worry about the food issue unless it bothers your stomach.
