Metoprolol when you have bradycardia?
Had resting HR of 40 and GP said bit low but how u feel & tbh felt okay, so don’t worry, takes a few weeks to level, but mine crept back up to around 55 at rest
I had 3x CABG in February of this year. My doctor is aware that my heart rate is in the 50s and occasionally drops below 50. I was concerned about this as well, but my doctor also said that unless I am fainting or feeling dizzy, it's OK. If it stayed below 50, then it could be a concern. I am also on 5 mg of Bisoprolol. My point is, I can relate, but you should be OK.
Thank you for your kind reply! 🌷Assuming you are taking metoprolol can you tell me has it helped you and also what was the timeline for you to start seeing benefits if so? Thanks again!
I didn't feel any different as to what benefits it provides. I just take it that the doctors who put me on it, know what they are doing.
Oh my goodness I hate to think I would be taking it and it not make any difference!
You have to be weaned off this drug.
