Thank you , you just think how can you feel normal again xxx

I agree with the other replies in that it's so easy to listen to someone else say something negative, or read something negative and then think that applies to you too? It doesn't need to!! When your worried and not feeling well it's easy to.lsnch on to things as your looking for an explanation or reason why your feeling the way you do. Best thing is to speak to your gp if you can. They are the professionals and the experts. I hope you get answers and that you begin to.feel better soon.

Thank you think the stress is making my heads worse than they are as they did seem a lot better yesterday but today seem to be over thinking everything xx

I was called in by the surgery with a similar report. They have referred me to a dietary/exercise programme which they hope will ease my problems without more medication. It isn't necessarily bad news.

Hi NRd19,

After having an ultrasound scan on my abdomen I received a phone call from the most senior GP at the practice asking me to come to see him. I said I would book an appointment and he said he wanted to see me straight away. Imagine the thoughts going through my mind! All that happened was that he told me I had some damage to one of my kidneys (caused by a fall) and he was changing my medication to one that was more appropriate. Sometimes we overthink things. I hope this proves to be the same in your case. ☺

As for statins, I found I could not tolerate the three that are mainly prescribed, but was then persuaded to try Rosuvastatin and after an initial bedding in period, I have had no problems at all.

With low vitamin B12 and folic acid levels, it might be appropriate to have your homocysteine level checked. I take a daily vitamin B pill as I have a high homocysteine level which for me is an hereditary factor.

I hope that you get sorted out soon.

Gerald

Yes, no problems now thankfully, though I still have a high creatinine level due to my kidney damage. Not flagged up as requiring action though...... and to think that the specialist was talking of removing my kidney. 😯

So I’ve been back to the doctors my blood pressure is back to normal thanks to the tablets and my cholesterol is 6.5 they are not going to put me on anything they’re hoping that diet and exercise will do this but I really struggle to lose weight I’ve been so good for the last two weeks , so keeping fingers crossed 🤞 still getting these heavy heads can’t explain the feeling but wish it would go away anybody out there still get this heaviness in their heads any suggestions thanks xx
