Just wondering if dropping a dose of bisoprolol from 2.5mg to 1.25mg can make you feel light headed and down and need the toilet all the time. The reason I say this is I have changed from Ramipril to losartin and from Avortastatin to Ruvortastin but take these at night. Two weeks before I was told to drop the Bisoprolol dose because of bradycardia in sinus of 50 to 52. Losartin has a half life of 2 hrs and I tend to feel bad about 9am 4hrs after having all my other tablets Lansaprozole, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Clodiprogrel, Aspirin and Bisoprolol. So I have the opinion that losartin will probably be out of my system when I awake. Am I wrong?. Baring in mind I had the change from Ramipril to Losartin nearly four weeks ago. One thing I tend to find due to my Fitbit is when I feel low and need the toilet my heart rate is in the low 50s. Do I need a rethink on my medication or just see if the tablets bed in.

Is it Bisoprolol?
Unless you are medically trained I would not make any medical decisions without consulting your GP or cardio who prescribed your drugs.
Not something I experienced going from 2.5mg to 1.25mg. I felt much better; didn't feel in a slowed down state that I was in on 2.5
I am tired all the time and feel sick was told I could stop my Bisoprolol as it was only 1.25mg they doubted I would notice I felt dizzy lightheaded and sick so it does make a difference get a water test done you could have a UTI .
I haven't experienced anything like that and am on Isosorbide, atorvastatin, ramipril, lansoprazole, bisoprolol and aspirin. Definitely talk to your GP or consultant. Good luck! xx
I’m really only being treated for angina for the last 3 years or so and have as yet no major problems. I have no real problems with the isosorbide and it lets me continue to be fairly active as I was always a fit active person before the angina diagnosis. I don’t really need to use my nitrate spray that much. The medications I am on does drop my heart rate and my resting rate is now 50/51 bpm. I do feel generally more tired but then again lets me continue to be more active as I wish to be. Would not recommend changing medication without discussing with doctor.
