Crt-d pre assessment

Hello can anyone tell me what the hospital does at the hospital,

for a crt- d pre assessment appointment .They have said allow about 3 hours. Thank you in advance love and thoughts to you all xx

I had to go for an ECG, had some blood taken, and swabs for MRSA and COVID. The nurse went through what to expect, and I had to sign consent forms. The longest bit was getting to the ECG room, as COVID regs meant I had to walk round the outside of the building - 3 sides of a square!It was nothing complicated. One thing she did not say was on the day to wear something loose you can get into without raising your left arm. Hope all goes well.

I had mine on the phone, as I had had all the tests in the hospital after seeing the cardiologist. The nurse checked that I was ok and told me everything re risks of op which are the same for all pacemaker implants. The op took almost two hrs as the whole team was very efficient, nothing to worry about.
