Have been taking Perindopril more than 10 years for blood pressure without problems. Have had a chesty cough for several weeks now and GP diagnosed post nasal drip and prescribed a nasal spray after having tried a week of antibiotics. The cough is still persisting, affecting mine and my wife’s sleep and GP wants to change the tablets. I am loathe to do this as they have worked well. My wife was prescribed blood pressure tablets several years ago and developed a dry cough with several of them. It took over a year to find something that didn’t affect her. She no longer takes anything by choice and monitors her blood pressure regularly.
I had 2 stents fitted in January and am on Perindopril, Clopidogrel , Lanzaprozole and aspirin. Monitoring blood pressure and no problems other than cough.
