Best of luck to you with your new dual chamber pacemaker, hope you are recovering well. I had mine fitted in February last year for congenital complete heart block. You have to be very careful not to move your arms above shoulder height for a few weeks after but hopefully you will soon be feeling much better. It is a bit of a shock to the system initially but I barely notice mine now. The pacing team at the hospital will take great care of you and I find having my pacemaker fitted really reassuring

Hello Fishywishy & Elfmaiden I’m also a member of the Pacemaker UK group on Facebook. It’s a hugely supportive community and especially helpful if you’re learning to live with your device. You’re very welcome to join.

Thanks, I did phone pacer team first morning and was reassured, they also told me it was normal to need to be reassured!
