This bank holiday was known as Whitsun when I was at school. It actually fell last weekend but here's a thought for Whitsun!

Thought For The Day
Hi Michael, I love this. I remember the Whitsuntide church walk when I was a kid, we all wore our new clothes (if our parents could afford them) and walked at the back of the brass bands. Such lovely memories. Take care and keep safe. Ruth
Morning Michael,
Like Ruth remember the Whitsun walk, oh what memories, one year remember having new white sandals and the tar was melting in the heat! So worried in case I got it on the white bit! Why is it I can remember those really hot days with the road surface melting 😂
Hope you are doing ok, it’s so good to see you on the forum.
Best wishes Pauline
The 'Good Old Days' Pauline, when things were a lot simpler!! 😊😊
Why is it that I always remember those days as warm and sunny, I am sure there were as many rainy days but must have chosen to forget those😂
I know exactly what you mean but, sometimes, I wish I could go back there lol. 'No Mobile Phones', had to go to the 'Old Red Phone Box', no 'Automated Robots' on the Line and the List goes on ha ha...!! 😊😊
Wish I had a printer.I`d put that quote on my wall.Hope you`re soldiering on Michael. You have a lot on your platexx
That is lovely Michael 😊, sending you healing vibes, and wishing you well xx
Aww, I love that Michael!!! 😊😊
Thank you for this. Some friends and I have an evening zoom session where we share a poem, music or other item. This will be my piece for this week.
