Today in Yorkshire, anyone sitting outside in a pub beer garden will be ordering pints of soup and not beer, good luck to everyone. Keep well & stay safe.

I can only answer as a Lancashire Man

Only a Man from Yorkshire would sit outside in the freezing Cold to drink a pint of Beer.

Now a Lancashire man would sit at Home drinking a Can in a nice warm kitchen Why because he wouldn't pay £5.50 for a pint of beer that has been sat in a barrel for over a year. I 'm going to wait for Warmer Weather and New Beer Stock .

We do as well and also wear a pair of marigold gloves when we are out. They stop us from touching our faces and keep our hands germ free.

Hi, I quite agree. I am a Yorkshire woman and I wouldn't sit out in the freezing cold for a drink for anybody, You know what they say about Yorkshire men, "Yorkshire man born and bred strong in arm and thick in head" Take care, keep safe. Ruth

I 've heard the same applied to Cheshire men but as these sayings tend to get a 'bit lost in translation' I could never quite work out if it was 'weak' in t'head or 'wick' which has an entirely different meaning, that of being quick witted and astute.😊
