I’m 40 and female, overweight and have been most of my life. I’m awaiting some test results for bowel issues and have been on iron for 3 weeks for anemia. This weekend I had terrible nausea, upset tummy, dizziness and then yesterday I almost fell downstairs because of dizziness, have been sweating profusely, had pain in my shoulder blade and a little pain in my chest. Only lasted a short time. I am absolutely shattered too. Been to gp today and she said my pulse temp and bp were fine so probably a virus but I have this nagging feeling it’s more. My heart also feels like it’s beating out of my chest but my pulse was normal.

Good morning Danic1981. Hope you are feeling better. You are not wasting anyone's time going to A & E. If you're not well. You are looking after yourself. So hope it gets sorted. I had a water infection that 3 lots of tablets didn't clear up. And with me having kidney disease I went to A & E. And they kept me in for 5 days. So best to be safe. Take care. Brian

Hi Danic. I hope your issue has since subsided, but if it happens again, as it well might, don't waste any time, call 999 directly. Not all heart related pain is in the chest alone. I never had any actual chest pain, mine was in my neck and upper back, now I have 3 stents and a bucketful of meds. but at least I'm alive.

You know your own body, better than anyone, so listen carefully to it, and be guided by your gut feelings, our intuitions are there for a reason - to warn us of potential danger and preservation of self.

Wishing you all the very best. Take care and stay safe 🌹
