If you are going to get it done privately I suggest you shop around, ask them about their infection rates and check with other hospital

I have never had problems while having difficulties with making an appointment with the eye doctor. Also, the eye doctor I visit is very kind. His medical center uses health care management software, which makes the experience of visiting him more efficient. This software permits him to store all the information bout his patients on online storage, so you don't need to tell him anything about what you have done at the last session. He already knows everything because he is reading your history before the consultation.
