Telephone Appointment Cardiology

I have a Telephone appointment tomorrow with the Cardiology Heart Failure ( Team ) Needed a couple of days BP and HR readings which I think are pretty reasonable

Sitting 121/68 HR 69 Standing 98/67 HR 85 these are Morning

Sitting 111/ 62 HR 62 Standing 87/59 HR 75 these are Evening

Main pills are 7.5 mg Bisoprolol and Entresto 49/51 mg along with the usual Aspirin/Statin/ Eplerenone/Omeprazole If I do have any concern it's just I thought 7.5mg Bisopop would keep pulse below the 85 HR.

So it will be interesting to see what is said and I will report back tomorrow evening !!!

Hope it’s a good phone call. Will check in tomorrow to see how it went 📞

BP looks good mine is low sitting down so god knows what like standing up think imma do that too and keep a note.I have a telephone consultation with Cardiologist on 8th and they want an updated BP too so think I'll do sat and standing (hopefully don't fall down aha however me taking BP has only been in evening maybe I should start taking in morn again my consultation may be scheduled to morn so obv can't do an evening on day).

That HR is high ish I would expect you to be much less on 7.5 I was on 1.5 then 2.5 now 1.5 again due to low BP and mine for some bizarre reason (for me) has been going low like 65/69 75 when I'm usually 75+ unless that's also due to my low BP?.I mean as long as HR is under 100 you fine I believe over is Tachy but hmm possibly something to address to your Cardiologist as I'd expect it to be lower than that but maybe you do just have a high one and would be pretty high without.

Well had my conversation.

Echocardiogram was good EF now 44% from 41% They want to wait and see how it settles for another 2 months and then hopeful that I can move to the Maximum Entresto, so saving a CRT which I wasn't sure if I wanted or not. My only thing about that is if I am going that way I would rather it be sooner rather than later !!

I have an appointment in June with my other Cardiologist who is an Intervention Cardiologist so will have another Echo for him prior to that consultation. Getting my monies worth from the NHS just in a bit of limbo. Mind you that is better than the Alternative

That sounds good to me Frank, Entresto does seem to work well for a lot of people (or maybe your wine cellar has helped as well 🤔)

We're still waiting for the cardiologist appt re kevins last echo and low HR issues but we can wait, they've got lots more important things to do at the moment.
