maybe 15 mins ...and you get a pretty blow up armband to keep :)

About 45 mins including prep time and explanation from the cardiologist.

Anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour depending on how much exploration the cardiologist wants and if they find anything. When I had mine they also did a right heart study so I was in there close to an hour. They'd warned me ahead of time they thought they were going to need to place stents and would do so on the spot which would have increased the time in theatre to more than an hour, they also had me bring an overnight bag packed for 2-3 nights 'just in case' (and that advisement put my anxiety straight up into the stratosphere!).

In the end I didn't need stents or the overnight bag and I was home by 5pm. Hopefully yours will have the same happy result:)
