Heart Scan

Dr going to refer me for a heart scan. 11week after double bypass. Want s to know if I still have heart failure. Has anyone ha this done.marvellous group. Keep well and stay safe x

Yes though I had it at six months after a stent for a Stemi Lad. A lot of the reduced function was due to the immediate aftermath of the heart attack. In my results I had an ejection fraction of 39% 4 days after the heart attack which I think put me in the heart failure category but that had risen up to 60% six months later so has a big impact on the medication that they prescribe.

Hi shaunyw. Had my heart scan on 1/4 /2021. Been referred back to Cardiologist. White head on Sternum has disappeared ( delighted). Started Cardio Rehab on 8/4/21. Found the exercises very tiring but determined to keep it up. God bless and take care x
