Bit of a panic this morning. Came downstairs and glanced on my side table and seen that I have somehow ( complete blank moment) not taken my previous evenings medication.
This is my 5mg wafarin, 5mg ramapril, metformin and bezofibrate.
I am really concerned about the wafarin as I am only 4 weeks post surgery. Cant believe I have missed something so important. Has anyone done this? What should I do? I think probably wait until this evening to take as normal and make a note of the missing dose.?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

There have been a couple of times I forgot to take mine, the advice from my GP and Pharmacist was to continue with the next dose as planned. Everything was OK.
The rule is
If you forget to take a dose at the right time, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose.
Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten dose."
What i have done is set an alarm on my phone so I know when it goes off its time for my tablets.
I would inform your GP, just to keep them updated, they may want you to do an INR test.
Keep well and in the words of Captain Manwaring "Don't Panic!!"
I think most of us have done this at one time or another. You are not alone. Just follow the rules in the other comments and don’t worry about it unless it becomes a habit.
I have an app on my phone that reminds me for all my medication and what dose. Definitely look into jt. The one I use is called my therapy, but I am sure there are others.
Many thanks for the replies. I have followed the advice, contacted GP (111) and spoke to on call GP.I was told exactly as has been mentioned, all but to increase to 6mg for the next 2 days until my next INR test.
I have also put an alarm on my phone for 6.30pm every evening to act as a reminder for medication taking 🙃
Panic over, thanks again, my mental ship is now steering back in the right direction again.
