I was doing quite well till 9 days ago. I did have a grumbly chest but thought nothing of it. Last Thursday evening I started vomiting phlegm and had to 999. Straight into H and into resuscitation. I ended up on cardiac ward with h.r. of 140. Any way it was a chest infection. Where does it come from? They kept me in for 5 days then sent me home. I have had 10 days of multiple antibiotics because they didn't know what caused it and wanted to make sure they got it. So I am feeling so weak. Can't look after myself. Home alone. Now have d.n.r. form and the little blue pill dygoxin to steady my heart. I feel a bit low.

How to pick myself up?
So sorry to hear you’ve been having a bad time of it. Sending lots of hugs and hoping you feel better soon. Take care, Sam x
Try not to feel low as that tends to take us lower still. Life is not easy at the moment, could you phone the council or the BHF Heart Nurse line they may be able to put you in touch with people who know a lot more about these things than I do !!
Please try to stay well only words I know, but trying to show we all care
