just had invasive angiogram.at Golden Jubilee hospital today. minimal furring of arteries.. same verdict as CT angiogram in April.. Consultant at Golden Jubilee will send report to my Cardiologist at FVRH.. wonder if this will mean reduction of meds as after same result in April resulted in no change of multiple meds and addition of aspirin ! and Cardiologist at FVRH diagnosed angina. and ischaemic heart disease although the furring of LAD is minimal.. anyone else with minimal blockage but still taking several types of pills?

Hi Manhattan

That sounds a little confusing for you.

Though you can still have angina due to problems with your small blood vessels and virtually no furring of your coronary arteries.

Did they mention non obstructive coronary artery disease as a possible cause of your ischemic heart disease?

You need to discuss the full results of the angiogram with your local Cardiologist.

hi milkfairy.. told by Jubilee cardiologist was the same result as CT angio.. local Cardiologist said after CT angio it was angina and IHD.. told to continue with meds plus aspirin.. hopefully local Cardiologist will be in touch regarding meds.. hopefully then everything will become clearer... when all this first began a couple of years ago local Cardiologist believed it was MVA and prescribed the meds i’m on.. .. i’m of a mind to stop all the blooming meds for a few days to see how i get on.. tell me i’m stupid lolol

The uncertainty is not helping.

I hope you can discuss everything with your local Cardiologist soon.

Yes, you would be stupid to stop taking your tablets so please don't!
