Lansozaprole

Due to AF I was taken off Asprin and prescribed Apixaban (by Cardio Nurse) do I need to continue taking Lansozaprole ?

Lansoprazole is for acid reflux, you should check with your GP or pharmacy that there are no contraindications to taking it with Apixaban.

I currently take all 3 of those (and some others). I think Lansoprazole is routinely prescribed where there are meds that may cause indigestion.

I previously took aspirin and Ramipril for 18 years, initially prescribed Lansoprazole as well but stopped taking it after a few months as I didn’t think it was necessary (in consultation with GP - as I have a cast iron stomach) and thereafter no issues at all.
