Hello and welcome to the forum! As you say the pain is unpredictable I do wonder if it is muscoskeletal in origin. It may be worth consulting a chiropractor. May I ask if you spend hours a day in front of a VDU as this can lead to issues with posture and pain. I had muscle pain from Simvastatin but they were constant but a change to Atorvastatin resolved the problem.

No this all started when I started the medication added to my perindropril and amlodipine.

It could be pure coincidence as typically aches due to say statins are constant rather than unpredictable. You need to get that appointment with your GP and keep an open mind.

Just a thought, have you ever had thyroid bloods done ?

All started after having been diagnosed with angina and started medication for it.

Perhaps more likely then but unfortunately having phone consultations and not face to face appointments can make things a bit harder to diagnose.

Hope you get some help

I found that amlodipine did horrible things to me and was changed from that.

Yea, If you have a beef with your pills get a phone appointment and explain to your Doctor what you relate here. Stopping tablets such as Bisoprolol & Amlodipine could make you seriously ill. Good Luck.
