Low HR and low blood pressure

Since being diagnosed with HF I am on tablets to reduce both my HR and blood pressure.

My normal resting HR is now around 45 and blood pressure is 110/70.

I collapsed at home last Sunday and was taken into hospital under blue lights. My HR when the paramedics arrived was 42 and BP 88/53 which they considered dangerously.

They also discovered that I had postural drop whereby my blood pressure dropped when I stood up.

I was kept in hospital for 24 hours and they were of the opinion I had become dehydrated and that caused me to faint.

The hospital recommended that I reduced the strength of my HR and BF tablets but my heart nurse advices me to keep them the same .

She thinks as I have been well for the last 2 years and that Sunday’s faint was a one off I should continue as I am.

I also suffer from peroiodic AF but I have not been in AF since last November.

Anyone any advise
