Wow! Beautiful cow! I live next door to a dairy farm, but never found one in the garden!

Good luck getting it out...!

This was in the summer, I ran downstairs partially dressed in disbelief, then the rest of the herd came strolling past the drive, including a bull 2 calfs and more cows, I was so taken back I only got a partial video of them going past taking my neighbours bin and part of her hedge out, no personal space

Couldn't believe it when I saw the bull I ran indoors 😳

Some years ago, my in laws were flapping about at 4 in the morning, neighbouring farmers cows were in the garden consuming their vegetable garden 😳

Lived in Botswana back in the 70s woke up one morning to find a cow in the swimming pool 😂 thought I was seeing things. Took an awful lot of men to get it out😂

Think it’s the sight of me in my nightie creeping along trying to take a photo that scared her off or no one would believe me, it’s just the bull was huge !!!!

That must’ve been a shock for you and the poor cow landing in the pool, they are big though aren’t they ?

Now reading you creeping along in your nightie is really making me laugh, yes they are bigger up close than you think never come across a bull that must have been scary.

Can still remember the look on the cows face it looked so surprised! Think it was looking for a drink, It must have fallen in don’t think it could have used the steps! Got used to cows walking down the road eating my hedge as they went, the gate must have been left open and one decided it needed a drink.

P.S. Although I was desperate to make lots of cow jokes I decided not to milk it, mooove on and let udder people handle that side of things...

On a serious note though, winter is on its way and it’ll soon be Friesian out there...wrap up warm hearties...

Oh my god !!!!!!!! Someone’s been being creative this morning 😂😂😂😂 I thought you were going to say something along the lines of, wasn’t that you outside or looking in the mirror 😱😱 but i .... herd you wrong so you get a ‘pat’ on the back 😂😂😂

in reply to Fluffybee

Should have said “put a Jersey on to keep warm”...damn.

I would do but I’m a ‘heffer’ due to lockdown and mine doesn’t fit, even ‘angus’ thought he’d ‘moooooove’ back to Aberdeen seeing me out there !!!!!

The herd that wandered past at least 15-20 of them had escaped from a farm down the road, there was a cow pat trail and footprints from where they came from as theres a few farms around here, and the ONLY garden they came in was ours !!!!!!!, bit edgy with cows and bulls now especially as I could hear the hoof steps looming around the hedge then a massive bull appeared, and may I add again i wasn’t dressed for the occasion !!!!!!

What I wouldn't give to have a lovely moo cow waking me up in the morning!! Such a cute photo. Thank you for sharing. You've really cheered up our day xxxx

Hi Handel

It really was quite a shock, funny though, it was worse as it had been really hot so the window was wide open so the Mooooo was so loud and deep that went slightly higher pitched at the end. There’s been many things passing through the garden, foxes, deer but never cows until now. Hope you’re ok and glad it made you smile 😊😊

You always cheer up a miserable day (except when I read of your health issues and then I'm in awe of how you're coping!) We're fine here I think!! xxx

If a bull is in with cows, it probably isn't that dangerous?

Oh d ear, bet she made a mess of your lawn Don't worry about the bull if he's with his girls. He won't be interested in you.

And the big holes where her hooves went!

In some ways they were worse, so deep, and luckily missed my car by about a foot by the imprints in the grass. 👶

Had 4 Bullocks in my garden in Donegal one evening walking through the veg patch. Thought i'd chase them off, that was my 1st mistake all they did was jump around. Left them alone and called the farmer who removed them. Spent the next day filling all the holes in the veg patch and lawn. Lesson learnt.

I was just frozen to the spot for a bit in disbelief !!! Not sure what I would have done if they didn’t naturally move on, but like I said on another post, I wasn’t exactly dressed for the occasion 🥴🥴

What a lovely wake up call. It’s wonderful when something gate crashes your garden. We had a muntjac recently but she was stuck and we had to prize her out. All the while she was screaming which brought all the neighbours out thinking someone was being murdered. We set her free.Xx
