Week end away

Hi everyone went away this weekend with my son fishing we found a great place off the internet its in Garstang near Preston .There are 3 Lodges which were 10 / 10 for accommodation. They had 6 ponds a stones walk away well stocked for fishing people they had perch rudd roach also chubb carp (3 types ) bream and barbel .It was Brilliant we both had many fish on one day we had 10 carp and i caught a 5lb barbel . First time out for 6 months it was so great we are going back 1st weekend of October redards

Great to hear. As a fisherman I’ve had great pleasure this past few months. Kept me sane. One minor drawback is relying on my wife for transportation since being advised not to drive while awaiting ICD. She’s reluctant to leave me on my own so I have to rely on meeting a mate at the fishery. Where’s the place in Garstang?

Garstang is also a lovely little town with some great independent shops if you don't fish.
