IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE????

Hi all i have a lot of symptoms regarding my stomach/heart/chest I won’t go to much Into detail. I just want to talk about one of the worst symptoms I have which is shortness of breath. I have it for roughly 3 weeks and then I will be ok for 1 week give or take, this has gone on for about 8 months. Now in the 3 week SOB period it gets bad when lying down/trying to sleep but normally don’t have to much trouble falling asleep. I have had some nights where I spring up in the middle of the night literally suffocating for about 30 seconds then go straight back to sleep (my partner thinks I’m possessed when it happens LOL) but this is a rare occurrence.. maybe twice a month.

My biggest question which is mind baffling is that my SOB seems to gets a lot better while I’m eating and about half hour after I’ve finished my food. But after that it’s back to bad sob

has anyone experienced this madness lol?

Thanks

Hi Ollie. Just a thought but do you sleep flat? I used to love to sleep flat but can’t anymore. I tried having a few pillows but now have a foam wedge with one pillow. Could your meds be the problem? Atorvastatin and Bisoprolol can cause breathless.

Hey I’ve only been on them for a few weeks so it can’t be any meds as been going on for 8 months

I used to have it after heart bypass because my stomach was very sensitive due to medication. My stomach used to bloat so much I could not take a deep breath. I also used to have dreams whereby I could not breath and wake up normal. Do you excercise like walk much or do cardio rehab excercises because they helped me relax
