hi been having a lot of problems of late extra heart beats, suvs ,tachy ect…But now I’m having very bad sharp pains in the centre of my chest, that goes down my left arm ,then radiating over all of my chest, back, and neck ,also causing flashes in my eyes,as tho I’m going to black out it seems to happen most at rest ,also very lightheaded with it also .been to hospital and sent home got a dr appointment tonight. It woke me up again last night very scary,it’s happening more frequently and more severe each time ,does anyone know if this could be unstable angina or worse,if it can get any worse lol will be asking dr tonight but is there anyone else out there with these symptoms

My feed tells me your post was already 21 hours old when I saw it. Have you seen the GP yet. What was the result. Why were you sent home and what diagnosis did they give.

Hi thank you for the reply , when I went to ae , they took my bloods and did a ecg, told me everything ok and sent me home. And when I went to doctors I told him all my symptoms,he basically said the only thing he could advise is to go back to ae and do the same again

You need someone to give you a proper diagnosis and suggest appropriate treatment. What you experienced was not normal and you need to get it properly checked out and get a proper diagnosis. I think a call to 111 is appropriate but write down the symptoms and sequence of events so you don't forget anything. Please keep us all informed

Well Eddie64, your not alone. I started having similar problems few months after my stents!

I could not work out whether, it was breathing, stomach or heart? However a chat with the GP, partly helped, (omezaparole).

With later troubles, I started to use the GTN spray, ended up using it daily. and then was started on Bisoprolol which is now working well, all is fine for now, have not used the spray ever since.

Thank you jedi unfortunately I’m already on bisoprolol 1.25m ,my cardiologist is supposed to be chatting to his colleagues about maybe a pacemaker but I have a niggling doubt that it’s not what’s causing it , yet no one has tested me for angina or unstable in a bit of a worrying pickle at the moment

Hi Eddie64 what do the doctors say is causing these pains there must be something. Have they referred you for tests to be carried out to get to the reason why. What is happening to you is not normal you shouldn’t be waking up with these pains. I hope they investigate further and you get some answers. Good luck
