My blood pressure has come right down. It fell in three, roughly equal stages. And is now consistently well within the NHS healthy range.

Stage 1, medication.

Stage 2, reducing my salt intake down to about 50-60% of the recommended daily maximum.

Stage 3, regular exercise and a healthy diet, which in turn led to a weight loss of about two stone, taking me back to within the healthy BMI range.

In other words, there's plenty that you can do to take control of your own health.

Good luck!
