Blood pressure high ??

Afternoon all

Have posted before re tortuous artery and am still undergoing tests, just back today from ct angiogram and was just wondering my blood pressure reading was 155/85 I'm on beta blockers and it has come down from 169/97 but does it still seem bit high ??

Awaiting test results from ct and echo so hopefully all will be ok

I am not a medical professional but I believe the "normal" range is somewhere around 120/70. I would say that yours is on the high side of normal. Just for perspective, mine has been a lot higher than yours (210/140), so I suspect that you are not in immediate danger unless you have other problems. Try not to worry, it never helped anything.

Yes think the beta blockers are doing their job then which is good

So far tests have shown lad tortuous (kno this means bendy/winding) no blockage and circumflex tortuous no blockage which is brilliant but waiting on echo and ct to see what's causing my symptoms and presumably the tortuous issue not a worry ??

Trying to be zen like and not think about it too much haha and will hopefully get my results in 2 weeks

I think jimmy is correct but could also add that your blood pressure is likely to vary considerably in different circumstances so you could put this into context. Although medicated mine still occasionally matches your recent reading but after exercise or when I am relaxed it settles at 120 to 130/80.

As you are currently being “checked out” I would suggest you maintain your zen like state as best you can - you might also advise me on how to do it!

Haha being zen is hard work when you are a natural stress bunny like myself but trying hard to take a more relaxed stance in life now ...what's the term...I think it's smile and wave 😊

Good morning

An update and advice /reassurance if possible please

Posted few days ago re high blood pressure/beta blockers and now have developed another strange symptom which am not sure is connected or not ???

I've had strange flickering /wavy vision disturbances twice lasting around 10mins over 2 days no headache as such just a dull twinge

Not sure if related to bp /meds, I know can be migraine related ...should I be concerned as never had before ?

Very weird feeling almost like going cross eyed too and wavy sparkles ( excuse the description) came on with no warning ... I drive a fair bit and am concerned could happen whilst in car

Any advice/reassurance welcome
