My oxygen become low 94 to 93. I had heavy chest. Actually main problem is oxygen not move to heart properly. This is main issue. But there is no reason behind this why this happend with out walk some time. Today i was laying on bed but it start haopening. Very worse condition i had.

I’m not sure why you are saying this, he’s a very worried man and feel he needs lots of guidance and lots of people have given it to him, just wanted Him to think back to what people had said on here to help him so he could try and use that as the stress I’m sure must be making him feel much worse !!!

I suspect gilreid remembers him from last year when he had over one hundred responses. So many kind people replied to him over a very long period of time. He has used a couple of other names too which is why you cannot see all the responses.

Thank you so much for explaining it to me, I didn’t know the past and apologise if I was taken the wrong way.

Everyone on here are just so supportive and helpful, so glad I found you all, you’ve brought me much comfort knowing you’re all here. 😃

Hi Raza,

The fact you achieved 3 miles yesterday suggests to me you could undertake an exercise ECG. You may have overdone it which is why you may feeling drained today. If you read any article on "rehab" the idea is to build up gradually. Many here, myself included, felt we were having a good day and pushed that bit too hard with the result we were exhausted the next day.

Approach things logically such as walking 20 minutes each morning and evening for a week and increase it by five minutes each week. Avoid the heat of the day and keep well hydrated.

While you look into CBT try reading something like David D Burns' "The Feeling Good Handbook". It discusses how to overcome fears, phobias and panic attacks, and cope with anxiety. It helped a friend a year ago when they started stressing about home, career and anything that came to mind.

Keep on eating healthily and walking each day.Try not to overdo it and spend time each day relaxing .Try not to think negatively as you are walking and tell yourself that you are doing well. Anxiety makes everything feel so much worse and it won't help your heart.Try this for a time and see how you feel.

Hi, you keep mentioning the feeling of lack of oxygen and wondered if some deep breathing exercises would benefit you. I had a quadruple bypass 2 years ago and am very lucky to be in good health at the moment. I try to eat well and exercise by walking up to 5 miles almost daily (when it's not raining). I practice this deep breathing exercise 4 or 5 times a day and find it energizes you, relaxes you, depending when you do it, calms you and gets lots of good oxygen rich blood pumping round the body. It's called the 4 - 7 - 8 system.

You breath in deeply through the nose, expanding the belly first then the chest for the count of 4. Hold this breath for a count of 7 and on on the count of 8 exhale fiercely through the mouth. do this 5 times. I practice this before exercise, before going to sleep, if I feel anxious and when trying to relax and I find it really beneficial. I hope you will feel the benefit too.

Sir this is the main issue. My condition is bad than those who hot heart attack or by pass. May be my life style or my country condition is not good. Here r many problems because Pakistan is not developed country.

My heart day by day going down. I cannot do little walk. Because my heart can not bear it.

I think trying to walk 3 miles is too much for your heart and body to cope with, which is why you feel so rough. I can only manage walking a maximum of a mile at a very slow pace, then rest when I get back. I have to

Rest after going up each flight of stairs. I think you have to work out what your normal is without it affecting you. A heart nurse told me instead of walking for 1 long walk to split down into smaller walks, such as 5 - 10 minutes each hour as this is better for your heart.

Which country are you writing from? How often do you see your GP?

What medication do you take?

Have you thought of having some counselling for your anxieties. I feel there is probably underlying stresses you have also. I remember messaging you last year, on the same lines.

Also what are your hobbies and interests?

Sending best wishes.

By the way I suffered with panic attacks many years ago, each time thinking I was going to die! In the end I reasoned, well if I die, I die, and that’s that.

I did have help to look at issues in my life, a seriously ill father, I was newly married, new job, living in an area where I knew no one, it was all a bit overwhelming.

Remember Captain Tom, now Sir Tom of 100 years age. His saying to us all

Remember tomorrow will be a Good Day!
