Post X 5 CABG

Hey friends

Its been 8 days after my CABG, is it normal to feel my heart rate at times thriving in my head fast, say 80-85bpm.

N at times so slow 48-55 bpm? And my passing if gas is so smelly that I can't take it myself. I still need to take medication for bowels

Hi. It’s early days yet. If you had any morphine after your op. it can make you very constipated. You could ask your GP for a kindly laxative.. I found the Glycerol suppositories really good,

Also ask about your HR. To my non-medical gaze it doesn’t sound out of normal, but it’s clearly worrying you, so again, why not ask your GP?
