Hello, watched Hospital it was very moving and the team at broadgreen where great with me, all my test showed nothing wrong, last test angiogram, it was only while on the table, that everything change, when they realised I had no blood going round the right side of my heart, the team where fantastic, it was only afterwards that the consultant told me the full effect, that I was on the verge of a massive heart attack, that I would not of come through. I was so grateful to the team. I would not be here today.

I have massive changes to my life, I thought I eat healthy, but I didn't.

That’s a wonderful bit of care, you’ve had. Great. Now it’s up to you!

You’ve done the (eating more healthily bit), are you making (or planning) other changes?

Same happened to my husband, had been back and forth to GP with bloating and breathlessness, had blood tests etc, nothing showed up, eventually referred for angiogram and told he needed triple bypass and was blue lighted from Stepping Hill to Wythenshawe hospital in Manchester. He was operated on 7 days later and had quad. Total shock as he had always eaten well and exercised.

Only thing we could attribute it to was stress in his job. Almost 5 years since all this but the memory of it still is very strong in both our minds. Great treatment and care from both hospitals and so grateful to still have him with me x

Hi Maggieace, lam Maggie too. Well done cutting down on the cigs but please do give up if you can. I had two heart attacks last summer and the Cardiologist was very blunt with me and said that one more cigarette would kill me ! I haven't had one since the day of my heart attacks, no help just keep thinking of what he said! However my problem is getting rid of about 6 stone, have put 7 lbs on since not smoking! I just need a good kick up the backside , go to the gym 2/ 3 times a week and not lost any weight, so I am totally pee'd off! Good luck and keep well.x

Hi Redsea, 12 mths ago I was 13st, I went up to 16.8, so a month ago, I started on a diet of reducing fat intake to 15g a day and 800 calories a day, no bread biscuits 😥 no pasta etc, I make stews and everything bar the kitchen sink, no salt, when I was weight on monday I'm know 15.5, I'm so pleased, I'm not able to take statins, so I needed to reduce my ldl, this worked and at the same time I've lost a stone. Speak to your doctor first, I did. Good luck.

Human health is one of the most critical aspects of our lives. I am apprehensive about my health and constantly go to the hospital for consultation. My friends advised me hashtagnursing.com/, and they were right! I found a massive amount of human health courses on this site. I liked it so much that I learned a lot of information and made many valuable conclusions for myself. These guys are great professionals, so that you can trust them. Medical knowledge can come in handy in any situation, you might get into an accident, or your child might get sick.
