I am at 9 weeks post AVR. Can I start to use bio oil🤔? Thanks

Totally unconvinced that it actually works. Mine started to fade just using scent and additive free soap like Simple and Dove!

If the incision is fully healed I think you are fine to use it.

Yes good to go as long as the scar has healed. I used E45 lotion but a friend used Bio Oil. Helps a lot and I compared to others at rehab who where not using and saw a marked difference. Massaging your scar also helps the internal healing especially the nerve ends. This comes recommended from the rehab nurses and I followed their advice. They are the experts

I used it as soon as my scar was healed after a triple bypass & also on the scar on my leg from where the veins were harvested. It really helped me & the scars began to fade quite well.

Love bio oil, gently massage everyday, check with Doctor if you can start using. It does smooth the scar l
