I had heart attack +2stents fitted jan 2020, so am currently off work due to the 12 week social distancing timescale put out by the government which my employer is following. Does anyone know if that period of distancing has been extended past the second week in June please. thanks

The 12 weeks for those in the Shielding group has not really been mentioned only that nothing has changed .
I am in that group so hopefully we hear more when 12 weeks are up .
The furlough scheme had been extended for another month at 80% of wages and may be longer but most likely at 60% so I understand at present .Thay are talking about till end of October I belive .
The furlough scheme has just been extended to the end of October. Are you on furlough? If so your employer could keep you on furlough until the end of October.
Socially distancing as per government's instructions. I work for NHS on the wards but my hospital have said although I'm now fit for work from the heart attack the covid restrictions on my health issue which falls into the social distancing category means I am not allowed back at work until that 12 week period is over (2nd week of June) hence the question over extention of 12week social distancing period. thx👍
Thank you for confirming that. I was just wondering if you were shielding with your condition. I too am a nurse in GP practice and have been unwell with symptomatic HF since my HA and stents. Am now on Entresto and feel like I could soon return but my GP doesn't feel it's safe until shielding is reviewed and to be honest I'm scared of returning to work in the current Covid climate. Hopefully we will both be the other side of the fence soon, don't like it much on this side 😊
