Had triple bypass in March. All healing fine but as I’ve posted on here before I have dreadful dizziness. My neck is extremely sore and crunches . Stopped bisoprodol on docs say so. Made no difference. It’s held up my walking rehab. As I don’t feel steady . Sick to death of it as I’ve actually recovered really well from the op . Vertigo and labyrinthitus were mentioned 🤷‍♀️ Over the phone . Anyone with anything similar? I’ve actually been using a walking stick to steady me . Better than it was,in bed for two weeks but not right .no cardiac rehab no follow up appt. That’s fine but do feel a bit lost .

I’ve been a long sufferer of balance problems so I’ve just learned to cope and use a stick to steady myself. There is also a temporary imbalance called Benign Paroxysmal Vertigo which can be corrected quite easily. A call to your GP would help.

I’m thinking I need to physically see a gp but that’s easier said than done. I’ll probably wait until this shitshow is over . But I’ve written that down !!!

You can still see a GP just explain the problem to their triage team. GPs are still seeing patients and if it is BPV the the sooner the better. It’s an instant fix. If it isn’t you will still be able to explain how you feel. Don’t struggle.

Talk to your doctor again. With something like labyrinthitis travel sickness pills can help short term. You need advice so there is no interaction with your other medication.

Are you taking Frusemide? A side effect of it can be dizziness as ive found out after 3 yrs of taking it post AVR . I was investigated extensively untill a Dr recently took me off it and my dizziness has reduced significantly. Just a thought x
