With the greatest respect, you can ignore the posts and ignore reality. that’s your decision.

others (like me) are interested in the truth and the facts.

Do not , under any circumstances, ever. believe a word the media says (especially the BBC , SkY and C4!). do your own research and you’ll discover things the media will never tell you.

I find it amusing that one group says the BBC is too liberal and another says it is part of the establishment! In general I think they do a pretty good job!

It’s nothing to do with any perceived political bias (either way) more the fact that they (like sky and c4) do not ‘report’ but instead they try to frame a story and work the narrative. just listen to the questions their reporters ask.

it’s all about them and the reporters ego wit the trying to catch the gvnmt out with some stupid angle.

it’s embarrassing.

I recall a week or so ago a young reporter ( forget exactly from where - Yorkshire post ??) who asked a question that was sensible and completely without any agenda.

I remember it because, as soon as i heard it, i sat up in amazement that a reporter actually asked a relevant question that was devoid of any “gotcha” type leading points. (was about what the gvnmt could learn from experience of the previous weeks actions and setting up of Nightingale hospital)

She put all the so called ‘big hitting’ reporters to shame.

Hi

I have to agree with Russino I like to see the charts and try to understand what is going on !!! It's up to you to decide what information you want, the remote still works to switch channels. You don't have to watch the News 24/7 there is other things available.

I do agree it is morbid "we may have the highest numbers of deaths in Europe " said the BBC so what can we do about it not a lot. Except Stay Home, and wait for the Sales to start when this is over.

Stay Well

Stay Safe

and try to stay happy.

Ok, so, some of the discussion headers are causing you distress. I suggest you scroll past those distressing headers and only click on the discussions with non-anxiety inducing headers.

Should you discover a header wasn't clearly indicative of subject matter, or if the discussion leads to anxiety-inducing comments, scroll past those, or click out of the discussion.

Everyone copes with crisis in a different way - some of us (myself included) want to know as much detail as possible in the belief knowledge is the best weapon against fear.

Others prefer to 'leave it to the experts' and don't want to know anything about whatever the crisis is, what is causing it, how to mitigate it, etc. You appear to fall into the 'Leave it to the experts' school of crisis management and you are perfectly entitled to feel that way.

Again, to cope with the morbid anxiety and distressful discussions, force yourself to scroll past anything that might be morbid and therefore distressful.

Don’t read them! I love knowing what’s happening, and working out what’s really going on.

Hi scouseguy, I understand where your coming from , why don’t you come over to the Positive Wellbeing during isolation site.
