I have suddenly started to get a low resting heartbeat reading from my Apple Watch, I have been struggling with running when I started to run again this year after a break of a few months I get a pain that takes my breath away, I do some mountain biking and also get it when I’m pedalling up a hill. The pain doesn’t seem to travel and it seems to be between my boobs. It goes away. I thought it might be a flare up of my asthma and ordered some inhalers but they don’t make any difference. The only thing I’ve started to take is HRT tablets. I rang the doctors and they said the pain is just muscle pain and unless I’m dizzy low heart rate isn’t anything to bother about. Should I just accept the pain is muscular every time I run and the low resting heart rate is nothing?

Low resting heart rate suddenly come on in last few weeks but particularly over the weekend, also heart pain that doctor says is muscular
Normally it’s around 60/65, but it’s been around 44-49 and dropped to 34 when sitting watching tv. 1st time my watch said it had dropped below 50 for 10 minutes was 17th March whilst at work, then it’s happened 3 times at weekend whilst sitting.
i have one, not mine in my medicine cupboard and have thought about trying it when the pain comes to see if it goes off ! I know it’s not indigestion, and my inhaler hasn’t helped. It was a momentarily one as low as that and most are between 44/49 for 10 minutes! Thanks for your help.
Ok, so I used the spray and it worked, the pain went, I did get a bit of a headache, but that went after a hour and I managed to do other hills on my bike without the pain, just a little breathless, but that could be my fitness. So do I go back to my doctors for an over the phone consultation ? Do I just keep using the spray 1st for a week or two and then go back to them ?
