My heart rate is strange every week (Roughly) my heart rate alternates From slow to fast, one whole week it will be 50bpm Resting, and then the next week it will Be 110bpm resting and skipping around going up and down from 100-120.
I’m not anxious but I know when It’s high I can feel it I start getting some pressure in my head and chest/stomach and feel a bit sick, just wondering what this could be?

Thought I’d add when it’s in the high period it feels like that feeling when you’ve just eaten loads of chocolate or sugary desserts but I obviously haven’t 😂
Have you asked your GP about this?If not I think you probably should. When you say your heart is skipping around is it beating regularly or irregularly? As I said check it out with a doctor.
Yeah I did but they fobbed me off saying I was to young I’m 28Also had an ecg before but it was fine as I knew it would be because the irregular fast heart rate wasn’t happening at the time. Yes definitely irregular
Ah right, well no one is too young to have an arrhythmia so that's plain daft for a GP to say that. You should definitely get a second opinion on this .I suffered with palpitations for years, they put it down to anxiety. When I had a hypertensive crisis...sky high dangerous bp...they did follow up tests and I finally got treatment for my heart rate issues .Don't let anyone fob you off!
I would see gp as sounds like an irregular rhythm, which they can treat. Have you had a recent ecg? They will probably send you for this or a longer monitor.
Yes sounds like you need a longer monitor. But I'm no expert. As long as no triggers like caffeine or anything else. Hard to get things at the moment though.
Hi, how are you monitoring this is it on a smart watch? might be worth checking when you see its high manually or with another device, but does sound strange and worth getting checked out, most of us can really tell if our heart rate is up at 100 -120 do you feeling racing, sometimes it has happened to me on anxious moments, you think something is wrong so it gets faster. I am not saying that's the case either you as every one on this forum take our hearts very seriously for very good reason and have learnt the hard way what is right on wrong with us. let's see if we can help you a bit further
I agree with the replies on here, see your GP it shouldn't matter your age, if your heart is misbehaving then it is misbehaving and needs help to put right. I would try and cut out or down on stimulants as well because that is one thing they will say is causing it. So if you can say you have cut down or cut some out and it is still happening then it can't be that.
Don't be fobbed off, you know yourself if something isn't right and unfortunately docs can only see a moment in time and not how it is the rest of the time.
Have you had a Covid test? Antibody test?Even if you've not had any symptoms and been A-symptomatic?
Lots of Long Haulers suffering Long Covid are getting whacky heart rates. Anything from resting of 44 to 200 in one day to anything between. Appears to be some sort of dysautonomia but not sure?
My usual waking pulse is 58, has been for decades. With Long Covid that's become anything from 130 to 52. And all manner of new arythmias.
