The NHS has now published a list of what it regards as patients of high risk who are likely to be contacted and advised to self isolate, The link is below:-

The confusion I feel has occurred because there are 2 types of vulnerable patients those who are high risk and those who are 'extremely vulnerable ' uber high risk.

It is these very high risk individuals who are going to be asked to self isolate.

However many of us will still be in the high risk of complications group if we catch the coronavirsus .

We must social distance with greater care.

Totally agree, I just wish the "fit and well" would start to wise up to social distancing.

It's just been reported that sadly an 18 year old is one of the fatalities in the last 24 hours. I hope all those who believe that only the over 60s are at risk will pay attention to this sad statistic.

No it doesn't say that - this list relates to people who are exceptional vulnerable and need to shield themselves and self isolate for 12 weeks.

For people over over 70, or people with health the health conditions described, this group need to adopt Social Distancing - please follow the link to NHS advice
