Thank you.
I’ve had a heart attack over a year ago, I’m a nurse in Occupational health and on losartin and usual thinners but that is all. My manager has said I’m ok to continue working but my GP has advised against, any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Hi Saffron63
We can't guide you on individual cases, as we aren't involved in your care.
I understand how difficult this must be for managers at the moment-especially in Occupational Health, it must be a very busy time for you as a team.
Your GP is best placed to guide you on what is best for you, and you have got advice from them - so there's not much more I can add. If you need to have more information, our page on Coronavirus is here: bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...
Take care,
Ashleigh
Thankyou ♡
Hi Ashleigh
I am a bit confused regarding the list published about various conditions under heart conditions. Examples are stents etc. I have stable angina and not sure whether I can continue working or even visit parents who both have asthma and Diabetes and mum has Vascular dementia. Any guidance?
Thanks
