Vulnerable People Corona

Seems to be lots of posts asking if such and such makes you Vulnerable.

Personally I have had a Heart Attack, Bypass Surgery, Further Stents and I have Moderate/Severe Heart Failure, and a 100% Blocked Right Coronary Artery, Currently having an Assessment for a CRT Pacemaker. Now I wonder if I fall into the Vulnerable Group ?? Oh and I am 72 Y.O.

Now I am not worried that I may be Vulnerable I am a little concerned, not worried, that I may catch the Virus, but I am going to follow the advice and stay safe I hope.

In my opinion it doesn't matter that You may be Vulnerable so no point in Stressing over being in a Vulnerable Group

The Objective is not to catch the Virus, not worrying over how it will affect you !!

Definitely ask your GP, that's the only way you'll know for sure.

I know for sure as my GP, cardiac nurse, and cardiologist all three made sure I knew they considered the flu and pneumonia jabs 'must-haves' for me - nothing ambiguous, they made sure I knew they expected me to roll up my sleeve at the first opportunity.

When you find out, could you update this discussion for others who were told the same thing you were?

I think the point we are trying to make is that we are not in your age category. We work in a environment that means we deal with hundreds of people daily, should we continue to do this, will this be a risk we shouldn't be taking. I want to be able to be as much help to others during this pandemic. But I don't want my heart to fail because its become infected, this is where the clarification is needed. I think there's a lot of concerned cardiac patients out there who really not sure how much precautionary measures they need to be making. I know there's much worse conditions.

Never mind the Dunkirk Spirit, what about the Gin Spirit. see Lezzers thinking about you.

Personally I am going to buy either a bottle of Jamieson or Bushmills Black Label Irish Whiskey. Something that I have fancied for a while but never followed it through, maybe now is the Time to Try !!!

Regards
