GP appointments
Not yet , no online appointment anymore and we did get a text yesterday saying that we must not go to the surgery if we have a cough or a high temperature
My gp surgery has removed booking an appointment on line but there was no information on stopping face to face consultations but i suppose that only the most important will be seen with the rest done by phone
My local CCG moved to telephone triage only last Friday. All GP surgeries were closed and patients asked to either email query via website or telephone triage to decide whether face to face appointment needed. All other queries being dealt with by telephone. Anyone who has face to face consultation asked to waiting area then to GP. Getting a repeat prescription is becoming more complicated......

Ours have switched to telephone appointments only. However, the triage for telephone consultation or face-to-face will be done by a GP. That's fine by me in the current situation. Triage by no - medical staff would be an issue!
tried to get an appointment this morning, told not to come to surgery, Dr will phone me for telephone consultation\
In Scotland our GP stopped all internet appointments last week telephone only and we mustn’t go to the surgery with a cough or high temperature.
yeah. got a text on friday saying no face to face appointments only telephone. i’m in scotland

I had a look at the websites for some local surgeries. They are all going to a triage system but the only consistency is the inconsistency!
Yes mine has.
Yes mine has. Received text this morning. Had to check because I’m due blood tests tomorrow - they are still going ahead ... at the moment!
Yes. My surgery has been keeping patients updated on Facebook and texts. I received a long email this morning explaining how you can contact them and reassuring me that I’m still important and will receive any help I need. Medical staff are at risk and I worry about my nurse daughter. I feel confident that we’re being looked after.
