Last week my ECG for next monday, was cancelled. It was my 1 month post cardioversion ECG.
Today I got the call, my MRI next Tuesday is also cancelled. This was to be my 3 months no physical exercise MRI to see if my heart muscle has reduced. Then to give me a plan on what I can and can't do.
Oh well 💩 happens, more important things going on in the world.
Stay safe everyone. 😀

I think a lot depends on your NHS trust and just what work they have on !!
I have an Echocardiogram tomorrow and as far as I know it's still on. My Heart Failure Nurse phoned on Monday and said if you don't hear from me it is ON.
She also said the Consultants had started to go through their lists to prioritise the diagnostic tests on the books !!!
I was supposed to have my post HA, 7 weeks ago, echo stress test today. It was cancelled on Monday by text with the instruction a telephone consultation will now take place at a similar time.
I have a phone consultation booked for the 3rd, it's 3 months since my AF and HCM was diagnosed. I was told no exercise for 3 months, mri to check hcm and then consultant could advise me.
Without MRI I don't know what she is going to say.
But hey there are people with far more serious conditions than me.
I’m fine apart from my BP having gone bonkers this month but on another 2 tablets as well so hope that is sorting it out. Also my face looks pretty grim from the dog bite and is quite sore but no reason to think my heart is playing up.
My husband is doing all the shopping and I stay in the car if I am with him at the time. I walk the dogs but only once so they are missing the second one.
I was just sent a non essential ENT appointment for May 4th. Not expecting to go. A friend in a different area is waiting for an urgent heart monitor as his condition has worsened but can't find out what's happening. When he phones they pick up the phone and slam it down. I totally understand not going near a hospital but some suggestions would help. It is a worry but hospitals do seem to be the most dangerous places.
I've seen photos of totally empty A&E departments. Maybe FINALLY they got he message that it's for emergencies only. Glad you got your scan ; hope you didn't touch anything. Good luck with results. They must have thought it was safe to go ahead.
Yes they have cancelled face to face for Monday that will be phone consult after they have read the results. I believe the scan was a priority that's why it went ahead. I was the only patient in the Cardio Respiratory Dept never ever seen that in 2 years.
Yes I need average BP and HR for 3 days and they will tell me what's next !! My Heart Nurse explained a couple of years ago how I would know if I was deteriorating, and she was right!!
When I was told this is progressive I thought what a load of boll**** now I understand the progressive bit !!!
I had to go to A&E for treatment for a dog bite on my face - it was an accident I hasten to add. I had to see a doctor and couldn’t get my surgery to answer the phone, so went to our local emergency clinic at our small local hospital and the sister took one look and sent the straight to Wexham Park hospital.
The A&E was like the Marie Celeste - never ever seen it so quiet. A plastic surgeon sewed me up and I have to have the stitches out next wk. I have a cardiology app for the ICD pacer check and had the confirmation text from them. So hoping to link up with the Plastics Dressing dept to get the stitches removed as well.
