Hi Alexa. Cold like symptoms are a know side effect of Bisoprolol and Brilique/Ticagrelor + aspirin is an anti-platelet therapy that stops blood clotting. And that can cause nose bleeds. It’s still early days for him and his body will be getting used to the medications but it would make sense to talk to a Doctor/cardio nurse about these side effects as it’s possible to change them for others.

Has he been offered cardio rehab? There will be people there he can talk to. You could always call the BHF nurses: 0300 330 3311. Or there is always the Doctor.
