Happy New Year Text Messages

Having got to bed at 4am and got up again at 8.30 for the hotel breakfast (mmm, bacon - don't tell my cardiologist), I got all excited to find 2 text messages on my phone. Were they from friends wishing me a healthy new year? No, the first was from the hospital reminding me I have an appointment with my electrophysiologist on Friday, and the second was from the community health service reminding me I have an assessment for another round of cardiac rehab (not with the ones I'm now volunteering with) on Monday!

May you all have a happy and healthy 2020, without too much bacon. And don't worry, I'm not after the gin. xx

Some of the systems are confusing - I get reminders for GP and blood test appointments but not nurse ones! 🤔

And some you have to reply to. My first reminder last week for tomorrow's appt said something along the lines of "Please reply Accept, Change, or Cancel".

Just got another one about a dental check up. Problem first I had heard of it! Managed to change as clashed with other appointment!
