If there’s anything urgent they wouldn’t have let you leave. Serious? Hearts are funny because...well....they’re hearts! So roughly speaking, anything that indicates your heart isn’t working as it should could be classed serious. But not always something that needs dealing with immediately. Changes in diet, lifestyle and adding in heart-protecting drugs can resolve many issues.
Without the detail of why you were sent for the MRI it’s difficult to even guess.
Hi I had my MRI in October and not see my consultant
Until January so like you I hope it's not to bad
That is our ridiculous NHS system. I've had private and NHS scans with the private ones I've had the disc and the report in the post the next morning to pass on to my GP and consultant.
Can u tell me how much it cost private thanks
It depends on which one you are having and where you have it. In London if you choose quiet times of day or weekends you can get a reduction. I had mine done in Hove, Brighton and Eastbourne. Spinal ones are more expensive as they charge for each section they do and paid between £600 and £1000. There are some advertised from £269,
The MRI scanners in NHS hospitals in the main are privately owned often by In Health doing NHS and Private patients.
I have an MRI compatible Pacemaker and need someone in attendance to reset it
