Vitamin C

You will have probably seen me mention I take Vitamin C to try and stave off irritation often a precursor to plaque formation. Research in Australia suggests it also helps in controlling blood pressure (hypertension) and reducing blood glucose spikes in Type II diabetes.

If you decide to try it do run it past your GP first. I would also advise the SR version to minimise the chance of acidity/reflux. Vitamin C is ascorbic acid.

I used to think I got all my dailies from good old fashioned home cooking. Then I retired home to the UK - NE Scotland to be exact. Now I take a C and D supplement at lunch every day.
