Still suffering breathlessness and burping

Hi can anyone help in April had heart failure. I had an icd fitted and haven't been to bad .The problem started 3 years ago .I am now suffering with breathing and burping at the same time .Can't walk 100 metres without stopping for a few minutes .I don't know what the answer is looking for help please

Hi,

I had the same and they gave me 80mg furosemide and things improved dramatically. You could ask whether this might help you!

Good morning Sanpedro,not quite the same but used to get really crippling chest pain in the night and I used to try to ease it by burping continuously.Dr.prescribed omeprazole and that does the trick.Worth a visit to your GP.I have a pacemaker and suffer from occaisional breathlessness,is it the heart or is it the medication,who knows? It`a constant discussion on this forum as you probably know.Best wishes.

My Doctor put me on Lansoprazole as I was burping a lot, said it was to do with taking Clopidogrel and Aspirin.
