Stopping bisoprolol

It will be 14 days on Monday I took my last bisprolol 10 in total. Yesterday I developed a severe headache as if I was still on them In fact that was mainly the reason GP stopped them. Please tell me that it will go away. My vision has got worse since I took these beta blockers. Would welcome your thoughts.

How long had you been taking it I only took it 10 days

It should normalise but check your BP daily I have been off 3 months now but my BP is through the roof! New meds ñot working? I am getting headaches again because of this etc. Interesting about eyesight, my optician wouldn't even listen to me when I said my eye sight changed through the day.

Interesting isn't it. I've been on very small dose for anxiety based racing heart beat. Because of severe sluggishness cut it back to every other day. Have upped breathing techniques for relaxation at two different classes. So left it off for four days. Sluggishness improved though not entirely. A question still of trial and error! But breathing/meditation do, I think, make a massive difference in my case.

Hope headache settles down. Anxiety and worry of course make things worse. Wishing you well.

Bisoprolol is a class of drug called a Beta Blocker. It regulates heart rate and lowers blood pressure.

When you wish to stop taking Beta blockers, they need to be titrated down gradually, otherwise you will get side-effects. Read this:
