Does anyone know who the best travel insurance company to go with to America when you’ve got some heart related medical issues to declare please? I’ve tried saga but am under 50 so wasn’t able to use them!! Does anyone know of an equivalent who are just as good? Thanks!

All Clear have a good reputation and quite reasonable. But it's not gonna be cheap for cover to America
I’ve just used the post office after heart attack and quadruple bypass in April - age 51
Try Insurance With - my husband has had a triple bypass and it was quite reasonable for an annual policy. I had to get insurance just for the US trip as I have several health issues. Their initial questions relate to medication, so a different approach to most companies.
Thank you very much!
I used all clear, if you are more than six weeks post HA premiums will drop. Managed a years cover world wide. As Lessers points out it’s not cheap. Didn’t ask the post office - have put note in diary for next year
Voyager plus - just took an annual policy out with them yesterday covering North America and it was £238 which is only £80 more than pre heart problems. My husband had a heart attack and quadruple bypass 9 weeks ago. The policy is 5k cancellation, 10 million medical, 5k baggage and the price also includes an additional premium for terrorism - reviews seem really good and all done in 10 minutes over the phone.....you can only go so far on-line then because of the medical info they need you need to talk to someone
